Cape home a dream come true for disabled man

2Previous Page1:10 A.M. — Not a single wall is in place, but already future Cape Coral resident Mike Kennedy is imagining how he will decorate his new homeFrom the plant shelves in the living room to the extra wide shower, Kennedy has ideas.
"I watch a lot of HGTV," Kennedy said. "I just love it. It shows you a way of creatively express yourself."
Kennedy's dream house comes courtesy of the Cape Coral Housing Development Corp., which helped him find funding for the house, and is pulling together local contractors to work on it.
